TURKEY

Turkey Season The 2024 spring turkey season south of State Road 70 opens March 2 and runs through April 7 on lands outside of the WMA system. North of State Road 70, the 2024 spring season opens March 16 and runs through April 21.

Gator Season put Aug. 15- November 1st each year, Private and Public land tags, Price depending on size per foot.

LARGE MOUTH BASS

Spring is the best time of year to catch bass, when fish move into shallow water to spawn. Spawning may occur as early as January in south Florida but March and April are peak months

SNOOK

Snook Year around, Harvesting season is closed Dec. 15 - Jan. 31 and June 1 - Aug. 31. May through September are the best months to target them.

Please purchase licenses upon arrival for your trip. Snook Permit is requested if you choose to harvest snook.

TROUT

Trout open year-round best time of year is (Late fall) cooler temperatures tend to get the trout schooled up in potholes and the cooler water temps really get the sea trout bite going.

REDFISH

No closed season in Florida so they are open to harvest year-round. The best time of year to catch redfish in Florida is in the fall, but the bite stays hot year round.

PEACOCK BASS

Open year around  The best time of year to catch peacock bass in Florida is summer. These are warm-weather fish, and they are most active between April and September.
